Agreement to terms
By accessing or using CAMarketplace ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
The marketplace
CAMarketplace provides an online environment where clients can discover Chartered Accountant ("CA") firms, view service offerings, and submit service requests, and where verified firms and their teams can manage those requests through role-based dashboards. The Platform facilitates connections and workflows; it is not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified CA or other professional.
Public self-registration is available for client accounts. CA firms and their administrators and associates are onboarded through platform-controlled processes (for example, by a superadmin creating an organization and assigning a firm admin). Features available to you depend on your role and verification status.
Accounts & roles
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Different roles (including client, firm admin, associate, and platform administrator) have different permissions; you may not attempt to access areas or data outside what is intended for your role.
- Clients use the Platform to find firms, request services, and track the status of their engagements as enabled by the product.
- Firms use the Platform to list services, respond to requests, and coordinate delivery in line with applicable laws and professional standards.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe others' rights.
- Upload malware, probe or stress systems without authorization, or interfere with the Platform's security or availability.
- Misrepresent your identity, your firm, or your qualifications; or use the Platform to distribute spam, fraudulent, or misleading content.
- Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform in bulk without our prior written consent, except as allowed by applicable law.
Services & engagements
When you submit a request or accept work through the Platform, you enter a direct relationship regarding that engagement between the client and the relevant firm (and its professionals). The scope, fees, timelines, and deliverables for professional services are governed by agreements and communications between those parties and by applicable professional rules—not solely by the Platform.
The Platform may provide tools for messaging, status updates, document exchange, or payments where enabled. Use of those tools is subject to these Terms and to any product-specific rules we publish.
Fees & payments
Certain features may involve fees, invoices, or payment processing through integrated providers. You authorize us and our payment partners to charge or settle amounts in accordance with the flows presented in the product. Taxes, if any, may apply as required by law. Refund and dispute handling will follow the policies shown at checkout or in your dashboard where applicable.
Content & intellectual property
The Platform, its branding, and its software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload; you grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Platform and provide the service to you and other users you interact with.
Disclaimers & liability
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties where allowable.
We are not responsible for professional advice given by CAs or firms; their work is their responsibility. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Platform in the twelve months before the claim or (b) a nominal amount where no fees applied, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
Changes & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform for breach of these Terms, legal requirements, or operational reasons. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability where enforceable) will survive termination.
Contact
For questions about these Terms, use the contact or support process made available to your organization or as published on the Platform. If you are a client without a dedicated channel, refer to the help or contact information provided in the product interface.
